Rhus lanceolata (Gray) Britt.

  • Synonym: R. copallinum var. lanceolata

    Shrub. Closely resembles R. copallinum, except the leaflets are 10-13 mm (0.4-0.5 in) wide in lanceolata and 15-25 mm (0.6-0.8 in) wide in copallinum. The rachis wings are usually narrow.

    Distribution: South central Oklahoma to the Edwards Plateau and northeastern Mexico.
    Habitat: Dry, rocky hills.
    NWI status: none
